Emerging from the depths of Glasgow in 2023, Cwfen have already proven themselves as a force of nature, fusing the crushing weight of doom metal with a ghostly haze of gothic post-punk. Their sound is relentless – dark, atmospheric, and impossible to ignore.
Their debut single, Reliks, was released on Halloween 2024, earning them instant praise from critics and garnering attention from labels, bookers and the wider press.
Then in May 2025, now signed to New Heavy Sounds, their debut album, Sorrows, followed.
