ABOUT

AMF Music is a full-service publishing company that takes a dynamic approach to developing our artist’s careers. We believe that in an ever-changing music industry, the publisher needs to be as involved as the management, record label and booking agent in order for our clients to develop and achieve their true potential. AMF has an extensive database of contacts and has forged trusted relationships with members of all areas in the music industry.

AMF Music was created by Andy Farrow, Managing Director of Northern Music Co – who has 35 years industry experience managing the likes of Opeth, 65daysofstatic, Oceansize, Paradise Lost, Devin Townsend, Katatonia, Anathema, Skindred and Soilwork.

In a time when a publishing company’s role has become no more valuable than an expensive bank loan, AMF Music prides itself on being present and active in all areas of an artists’ career — from negotiating strong records and licensing deals to helping secure tours, festivals or agents when necessary. Northern Music Co.’s experience in band management also allows AMF to offer additional management services that don’t encroach on the position of the artist’s appointed manager, as we work alongside label and manager to bring ideas and marketing proposals to the table that generate record sales, thereby increasing the publishing revenue.

AMF offers all conventional publishing services such as worldwide royalty collection through Kobalt’s highly efficient worldwide administration system and exploitation of our huge catalogue of contacts in film and production companies, creating great synchronisation opportunities.

Through his role as manager, Andy helped secure huge synchronisation deals with the likes of Orange Mobile Phone, No Man’s Sky, Netflix’s ‘Clark’, Clarion Hi-Fi, The O.C, CBeebies, and Grand Theft Auto 4 that allowed his artists to fulfil their musical vision and expose their music on a worldwide platform. Our published artists have been featured in a wide range of media such as big budget and indie Films, TV shows, Videogames and Online streams (NCIS: Los Angeles, The Rookie, Peacemaker, Beavis & Butthead, DiRT: Showdown, Guitar Hero TV, Watch Dogs: Legion, Yahoo Livestream and more).

AMF tracks income using a live activity feed of catalogue events and is able to track the progress of live synch activity from initial discussions through to synchronisation. We can also provide our roster with individualised global chart positions as well as monetising user generated video views (YouTube video views).
